Owned and operated by Sam Harrison, a fully qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher with over 15 years in teaching, leadership, and management in Early Childhood Education.
As a mum of two preschool-aged boys, Sam brings a genuine understanding of both parent life and a child’s experience between home and early learning. She is passionate, hands-on, and committed to ensuring success for every child—believing this begins with strong, respectful relationships between families and the centre.
Sam is supported by a team of caring and enthusiastic teachers who share this vision. Together, we strive to create an environment where children and families feel respected, safe, and valued—built on trust, and designed to feel like a true home away from home.
Meet OUr amazing team
Our teachers are very important to us. Together they hold over 65 years experience in teaching.
They have many roles in our centre, they are role models, story tellers, artists, caregivers, listeners, researchers, advocates as well as at times cooks, medical assistants, sometimes even builders! They wear many hats, but their best attribute is that they care for your child with aroha and teach with passion.
Our team of teachers work closely with one another and support all children in the centre. As we have a shared outdoor space your child will build relationships with and be supported by all teachers.
Teina Classroom
Our Under two's Teina classroom is supported by lead teacher Emily Sutherland – GradDipTchg (ECE) fully certified teacher, Helen Firth - GradDipTchg (ECE) fully certified teacher, Summer Thompson and Stacey is our Float teacher between both classrooms.
Tuakana Classroom
Our Over two's Tuakana Classroom is supported by lead teacher Far Boonyen - BEd (Tchg) (ECE) fully certified teacher, Mandy Khor - BEd (Tchg) (ECE) fully certified teacher and Rebekah Aalders BEd (Tchg) (ECE) fully certified teacher.
